New Year Outlook
Business in the United States seems to be getting more complicated and tougher to conduct. At Pacific Coast Bolt, we don’t let that get us down. We are now in our 2nd generation of family management and we have been investing in both equipment and our people
As we mentioned in previous newsletters, over the past two years we have implemented a new computer system that facilitates order entry, manages inventory, lessens shipping time and provides us with the tools necessary to better manage our processes. With regards equipment, Tony Daniels, PCB’s General Manager, has overseen our investment in a new Kaiser Rotary Screw Compressor; the Ambrell Ekoheat 75Kw solid state induction furnace for our forging processes and a new chamfering machine. …and we are not done!
Internally, we are organizing our sales administration in order to better address your RFQs. Joe Santa Maria has been named Vice President of Sales and is becoming more involved with our national campaigns. John Ponting has become our Vice President of Waterworks, and has developed a technical sales staff to facilitate the large numbers of RFQs and orders from our waterworks distributors.
And last, but certainly not least, we are extremely proud of our Quality Assurance Department’s role in our business operation. As both a manufacturer and a distributor, we are constantly developing procedures to both identify nonconformance in the receipt of raw materials, increase our on-time delivery rate and address our customers’ sometimes unique specifications.
We are working hard on behalf of our customers and we look forward to the
exciting times ahead.
